Forum Title: .Toilet vent stack...I need advice

Installing plumbing in my new construction home. How far can a toilet be from the vent stack? And can the toilet share the vanity drain venting ? I am using 3" toilet drain pipe and 2" vent runs. The main vent stack is 3". Thanks for your help here. Jim in TN using UPC 2009....

Thanks. Sorry for my tardy response. Been in the basement cutting and gluing. I used cell core schedule 40. 2 on all venting except the 3 main stack. I used 3 on all toilets and in the 5 bathrooms (3 bedroom baths, and 2 powder rooms) and connected all runs to a 4 schedule 40 that runs approx 65' the length of the entire house with 1 90 swings over to the sewer out. I know...overkill but just trying to do it above code...

6' max developed length on 3'' , yes you can wet vent the toilet with the lav how are you lplumbing it?
